In a single week, I ran into two nearly-identical situations with coaching clients.
They both were trying SO hard bend over backwards to be responsive to their clients, that they ended up botching their work … and potentially losing the clients they tried to over-serve.
That’s what happens when you try TOO hard to please a client.
(And yes, there IS such a thing).
It’s a wonderful thing to want to serve. It becomes toxic – and harmful to your business — when it turns into people-pleasing.
